REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are intended to work for Adzzer’s recurring Website Maintenance Plans.
Effective date: 28 January 2020

1. About This Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy summarises how billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are intended to work for Adzzer Website Maintenance Plans purchased through this website.
Our Terms & Conditions form part of the broader contractual framework that governs our services, and an accepted quotation, proposal or service agreement may contain additional or more specific terms for a particular engagement. Where this policy and the Terms & Conditions differ on a specific point, the more specific document will generally govern for that point, subject to legal review. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
2. Recurring Monthly and Annual Plans
Adzzer offers Website Maintenance Plans on a monthly or annual recurring basis, described in full on our Maintenance Plans page.
Monthly plans are billed monthly and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
Annual plans are prepaid for a 12-month service term, priced at the equivalent of 10 monthly payments, and renew automatically each year until cancelled.
Custom plans are not treated as automatically recurring under this policy unless the accepted quotation or agreement for that plan expressly establishes recurring billing; Custom arrangements may otherwise be subject to their own quotation or agreement.
QUICK REFERENCE
Monthly
- Renews automatically each month
- Cancel any time — takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refund for the remaining part of the current period
Annual
- Renews automatically each year
- Cancel any time — stops the next renewal only
- Current prepaid term is non-refundable and not prorated
3. How to Request Cancellation
Customer accounts do not currently include a self-service cancellation function. Cancellation requests must be sent to Adzzer using the contact form.
Please include:
- Account or company name
- Website or domain
- Plan name
- Billing email
- Your requested cancellation
Please do not send passwords or full payment-card details — we do not need them to process a cancellation.
A cancellation request is effective once acknowledged or processed by Adzzer.
4. Monthly-Plan Cancellations
You may request cancellation of a monthly plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period, and the plan remains active until then, subject to our Terms & Conditions and any suspension or termination rights described there.
Once a cancellation request has been processed before the next renewal date, that renewal should not be charged.
No partial refund or credit is normally provided for the remaining unused portion of the current monthly billing period, except where required by law or expressly agreed by Adzzer.
5. Annual-Plan Cancellations
You may cancel future renewal of an annual plan at any time during the annual term. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual billing period.
The current prepaid annual term continues until its expiry, subject to our Terms & Conditions, and is generally non-refundable and not prorated, except where required by law or expressly agreed by Adzzer.
Cancellation prevents the next annual renewal charge; it does not shorten or refund the term already paid for.
6. Automatic Renewal and Annual Reminders
Monthly plans renew automatically each month; annual plans renew automatically each year — see Section 2.
Adzzer intends to send an annual renewal reminder approximately one month before the renewal date. Customers remain responsible for keeping their contact information current and for requesting cancellation before renewal if they do not wish the plan to continue.
We cannot guarantee that every reminder email will be successfully delivered. Reminder delivery is not, by itself, a condition of a valid renewal.
7. Failed Renewal Payments
If a scheduled renewal payment fails, your Maintenance Plan service is not suspended after the first failed attempt. We make further attempts to collect payment on the following approximate schedule, counted from the date of the original failed attempt:
The service remains active while these retries are attempted — it is not placed on hold after the first failed payment. If the final retry also fails, the subscription may be cancelled; ongoing maintenance service may then stop, and resuming it may require payment of outstanding amounts and reactivation or a new agreement. Reactivation is not automatic.
8. Payments, Plan Changes and Duplicate Charges
First payment and start of work. The first payment for a Maintenance Plan or other agreed service activity generally becomes non-refundable once Adzzer has started the initial audit, onboarding, maintenance work or another agreed service activity, except where required by law or expressly agreed by Adzzer. A request received before work has started is reviewed based on the accepted agreement, work already performed, costs already incurred and applicable law.
Plan upgrades and downgrades. Upgrades are allowed after review, with the higher plan and any billing adjustment taking effect from the agreed date. Monthly-plan downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle. Annual-plan upgrades may be applied during the current prepaid term, with the additional cost calculated for the remaining part of that term; annual-plan downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Voluntary downgrades do not normally result in a refund or credit for the unused portion, except where required by law or expressly agreed by Adzzer. All plan changes remain subject to review and technical suitability — see our Maintenance Plans page.
Duplicate or incorrect payments. If you believe that you have been charged more than once or that a payment is incorrect, contact Adzzer promptly. We will review the relevant payment records and determine the appropriate correction.
Refund processing. Where a refund is approved, it is normally returned through the original payment method where practical. Processing time may depend on Stripe, the card issuer or the relevant financial institution, and we do not promise a fixed bank-processing time. No administrative fee is currently applied to an approved refund.
9. Refund Exceptions and Statutory Rights
The exceptions referred to throughout this policy — “except where required by law or expressly agreed by Adzzer” — mean that a refund, credit or different cancellation treatment may apply where applicable law requires it, or where Adzzer expressly agrees to it in a particular case. Neither is guaranteed or automatic.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
This policy does not assume that every customer is a consumer. Many Adzzer customers acquire services for business purposes, and consumer-protection rights under applicable law may apply differently, or not at all, depending on the circumstances of the purchase.
