Off-Site Backup & Recovery for the Systems Your Business Depends On.
Backup and disaster recovery Singapore businesses can depend on starts with separation. In other words, a backup is only useful if it’s kept separate, kept current, and can actually be restored. That’s why we operate our own S3-compatible backup infrastructure — to help make that true for your website, store and business systems.

Do You Have a Backup
— or a Recovery Plan?
Most businesses have some kind of backup. However, fewer can say, with confidence, that it’s separate, current, and something they could actually restore from if needed.
Backup Capability, Built Around
What You Actually Run
Six areas of capability make up our backup and recovery work — in practice, the mix that applies depends on your systems and requirements.
Website Backups
WordPress and WooCommerce websites — files, database and everything needed to restore them.

Backups That Stay Separate,
and Recoverable
Production systems, backup processing and off-site storage are kept as three distinct layers, so there’s a clear path back to recovery — not just a copy sitting somewhere.
Multiple Restore Points, Planned Around Your Recovery Needs
A single backup is a snapshot. By contrast, multiple restore points give you options — a way back to before a problem happened, not just to the most recent copy.
In practice, retention is planned according to the system, its risk profile and how quickly you’d need to recover it — rather than one fixed rule for everything we back up.

What Happens When
You Need to Restore
Identify
We confirm what's affected and what needs to be restored.
Select Restore Point
We choose the right backup version for the situation.
Restore
We restore to the affected environment, or a clean target where appropriate.
Verify
We check that the restored system and data are working as expected.
Return to Operation
We hand back a working system, and recommend next steps if more work is needed.
In that case, more extensive recovery work, beyond a standard restore, may require separate scope — discussed with you first.
Private Backup and Disaster Recovery Infrastructure in Singapore
We operate our own S3-compatible backup infrastructure, so backups can be stored separately from the production systems they protect — not solely dependent on the same server, account or environment being protected. In fact, it’s also the same infrastructure behind the off-site backups included in our website maintenance plans. This approach follows guidance from the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) on keeping backups resilient against cyber incidents.
- Separate destination from production
- Direct technical control over the storage layer
- Also supports our Website Maintenance backup coverage

Checked, Not Just Assumed
A backup that has never been checked is a guess. That’s why we treat backup status as something to actively review, not something to assume is working.
In short, reviewing backup status regularly is what turns a scheduled job into something you can actually rely on.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can you back up?
Websites (WordPress and WooCommerce), and selected server or infrastructure workloads, depending on the arrangement agreed with you.
Where are backups stored?
Off-site, on backup infrastructure we operate ourselves, kept separate from the production systems being protected.
Are backups kept separately from the live system?
Yes — that’s the core of how we approach backup. In fact, storage is kept separate from the production environment it protects.
How often are backups created?
It depends on the system and the agreed arrangement. For example, where backup is part of a Website Maintenance plan, frequency follows that plan (weekly, daily, or tailored).
How long are backups retained?
Retention depends on the applicable service arrangement, rather than one fixed rule for everything we back up. For instance, for a website covered under a Website Maintenance plan, retention follows that plan: Essential Care keeps four weekly restore points (around one month of backup history); Business Care keeps thirty daily restore points (around 30 days of backup history); WooCommerce Care keeps sixty daily restore points (around 60 days of backup history). Otherwise, Standalone and Custom backup engagements are tailored to the system, its risk profile, storage requirements and the agreed service arrangement, rather than following one of the fixed maintenance-plan periods.
Can you restore a WooCommerce store?
Yes, including the files, database and store data needed to bring it back.
Can you back up servers or business data?
Selected server or infrastructure workloads can be included where agreed.
What happens if a backup fails?
We investigate failed backup jobs and address the cause. That said, more extensive remediation, beyond restoring normal backup operation, may require separate scope.
How quickly can you restore a system?
This answer depends highly on client infrastructure and needs as well as the scenario in place for backup restoration.
Is backup included in Website Maintenance plans?
Yes — in fact, off-site backups are included across our Website Maintenance plans, with frequency and retention varying by plan (weekly with four restore points for Essential Care, daily with thirty restore points for Business Care, daily with sixty restore points for WooCommerce Care, or tailored for Custom IT Care).
Can you take over an existing backup setup?
Yes — first, we review your current backup arrangement, then take over its management.
Do you provide disaster-recovery planning?
Yes, at a planning and advisory level, alongside our backup work.
Where is the backup infrastructure located?
In Singapore.
